These Terms govern the QRes website, downloadable software, hosted service and professional setup services. By purchasing or using QRes, you agree to them.
1. About QRes
QRes provides restaurant point-of-sale, QR ordering, cashier, kitchen and administration software. “QRes,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the seller identified on your order receipt or service invoice. Contact hello@qres.ai.
2. Products and pricing
- QRes Source Code — US$79 one-time launch price: Node.js source code, guided installer, documentation, customer, cashier, kitchen and admin interfaces, six months of bug-fix and documentation support, and one production installation license.
- QRes Hosted — US$39/month: managed hosting, SSL, backups, monitoring, application updates and standard support.
- QRes Done-for-You — US$249 setup + US$39/month: the Hosted plan plus deployment, domain and HTTPS setup, onboarding and a launch review.
Taxes may be added. Source Code checkout and delivery may be processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Hosted and Done-for-You services may be arranged directly. Custom work requires a separate quotation.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, secure your credentials and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your accounts.
4. Source Code license
A Source Code purchase grants the limited rights in the QRes Source Code License. You may use and modify QRes for one production restaurant or business deployment, plus supporting development and staging environments. You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, publish or use the source to provide a competing product or multi-customer SaaS.
5. Hosted services
Hosted subscriptions continue until cancelled. Cancel before the next billing date to stop future renewals. We may perform maintenance and apply reasonable security or usage controls. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or a specific service level unless a signed agreement says otherwise.
6. Support and updates
Source Code includes six months of support for reproducible product defects and supplied documentation. It excludes customization, server administration, data entry, integrations, recovery from customer changes and training unless agreed separately. Later updates are not guaranteed.
7. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for evaluating QRes, maintaining self-hosted security and backups, configuring taxes and payments, training users, and complying with restaurant, tax, employment, privacy, payment and consumer laws.
8. Intellectual property
QRes and its original code, design, documentation, name and branding remain our intellectual property. A purchase transfers usage rights only. Third-party components retain their own licenses.
9. Payments, cancellations and refunds
Payments are due at purchase or renewal. Our Refund Policy applies. Non-payment may suspend hosting. Cancellation stops future hosted renewals but does not retroactively refund completed periods unless required by law.
10. Warranty and liability
QRes is supplied “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, special, consequential or lost-profit damages. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount paid for the affected product or service during the preceding 12 months. Rights and liability that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, unlawful use, security risk or infringement. A terminated Source Code license must no longer be used or distributed.
12. Changes and governing terms
We may update these Terms prospectively and change the date above. They are governed by laws applicable to the seller identified on your receipt or invoice, while mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.
