This policy explains how QRes handles personal information when you visit qres.ai, try our demo, purchase software, request support or use QRes hosting.
1. Information we collect
- Contact and account data: name, email, organization, account identifiers and messages.
- Order data: product, price, billing country, tax status, order ID, delivery, renewal and refund status.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, device, referring page, timestamps, diagnostic logs and website or service interactions.
- Hosted restaurant data: menu, table, staff, order and operational information submitted to a hosted installation.
We do not normally receive full card details. Payment providers, including Lemon Squeezy where applicable, process them under their own terms.
2. How and why we use data
We use data to deliver products, verify purchases, operate and secure accounts, answer support, process billing and refunds, maintain backups, improve QRes, prevent fraud, meet legal duties and send essential service messages. Depending on location, our legal bases are contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation and consent.
3. Sharing
We share only what is reasonably necessary with payment and merchant-of-record providers, hosting, email, support and analytics providers, advisers, authorities when legally required, or a legitimate business successor. We do not sell personal information.
4. Cookies
We may use essential cookies for security and sessions and limited analytics to understand traffic. Browser settings can control cookies, though features may be affected.
5. Retention and security
We retain accounting records as legally required, service data while needed to provide the service and support records for a reasonable period. We then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable access controls, encryption in transit and backups where appropriate, but no internet system is completely secure. Self-hosted customers secure their own installation.
6. International processing
Providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.
7. Your rights
Depending on law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, withdraw consent, and complain to a data-protection authority. We may verify identity and retain records where legally required.
8. Restaurant operators
A restaurant normally controls data entered into its installation and is responsible for customer and employee privacy notices. For managed hosting, QRes processes that data to provide the service under the restaurant’s instructions.
9. Children, changes and contact
