This single-production-installation commercial license lets one purchaser operate and customize QRes for one restaurant or business deployment. It does not permit resale or a multi-customer SaaS.
1. Grant
After payment and while complying with this License, QRes grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, perpetual license to install, run and modify the supplied software for one production installation serving one restaurant or business organization. Reasonable development, testing, backup and staging copies supporting it are allowed.
2. Permitted use
- Operate QRes for the purchaser’s own restaurant or business.
- Modify code, interface, reports and configuration for that installation.
- Allow employees and contractors to work on it confidentially and only for the purchaser.
- Make internal backup and archival copies.
3. Prohibited use
Without a separate written license, you may not sell, redistribute, sublicense, share or publish the source; put it in a public repository; use it as a stock item, template, white-label or competing downloadable product; operate it as SaaS for multiple independent customers; remove ownership notices; or misuse QRes branding.
4. Additional installations
Each additional independent production restaurant, business, customer or deployment requires another license. Agencies and managed-service providers need one license per client unless QRes grants a written agency or extended license.
5. Ownership
QRes retains ownership of the original software, documentation and branding. You own original code you independently add, but modifications do not permit redistribution of QRes or derivatives beyond this License.
6. Third-party components
Third-party libraries and assets remain governed by their respective licenses.
7. Support
The package includes six months of support for reproducible product defects and supplied documentation. Custom development, deployment, integrations, server administration and modification-related issues are excluded unless agreed separately.
8. Warranty and liability
The software is provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special or lost-profit damages, and total liability will not exceed the license price. Mandatory rights remain unaffected.
9. Termination
This License terminates for material breach. On termination, stop using and delete all copies. Ownership, restrictions, warranty and liability provisions survive.
10. Agreement and contact
This License, the Terms and purchase receipt form the agreement. A signed agreement may override them. For additional or agency licensing, email hello@qres.ai.
